Krohmaly's Printing was founded in 1957 by Arnold Krohmaly of North Braddock, Pennsylvania.

 

 Arnold was born in North Braddock and as a young child he returned to Slovakia with his mother. Arnold studied printing in Presov, Slovakia and graduated with a degree in printing. At the age of 21, he returned to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he opened his first printing business in the basement of his father's home on McDonough Avenue in North Braddock, PA. Shortly after, he rented property on Woodstock Avenue in Swissvale and developed a printing business that he hoped one day would grow.

 

Several years later in 1961, Arnold and his wife Ann were introduced to property on Washington Avenue. This is where Arnold and Ann built there printing shop in 1963 and you can still walk into this business and see the second and third generation at work.
